inspired by the practice of fish traditionally strung together and left to dry slowly in the wind and sun; often hung from the eaves of hanok homes. it was a quiet ritual of preparation and storing warmth for the colder seasons ahead.
although this practice has largely faded from modern households, this dried fish remains as a familiar presence within the korean dining table. carried forward not by necessity, but by memory.
note: microwave and dishwasher safe.
