home office
home office was a group exhibition held in Toronto, ON. it was based on the thesis of what home means to the artist.
-
the meaning of home isn’t always defined by a physical space. they can be attributes outside the physical - feelings and memories.
this led to remembering the silent love language of food. growing up, umma (mom in korean) often cut fruit after dinner. this nostalgic memory is held close to my heart, and has since translated to be shared with loved ones. home doesn’t have to be grand gestures, but instead can be an invisible warm constant.

a slice of home, 2025
a tender offering - fruit as the gesture of warmth,
a quiet ritual of care, often steady and unspoken,
a memory that taste like home
