ossis

a concept object created in collaboration with aséance studio.

ossis is a 3-piece set formed out of natural clay and finished unglazed to maintain its raw textured surface. two pieces act as the outer shell and the third bone shaped form acts as the piece that ties the outer component’s together.  functionally, the bone shaped piece also can act as a candle holder.

when everything is pieced together, the form is a closed box, the unseen aspects of ossis are yet to be experienced. once opened, it allows you to understand its form. ossis seeks to explore unseen form and function in nature.
